Returning for its second edition in 2026, the Nauams Gravel Grind, created in collaboration with Cycletec, is a true test of endurance, grit, and adventure. Riders are taken deep into one of Namibia’s most striking gravel regions, where flowing farm roads, long open stretches, and challenging climbs combine to create a ride that is as rewarding as it is demanding.
The route journeys through vast highland terrain, past the iconic settlement of Solitaire, before building toward its defining moment — the legendary climb up Spreetshoogte Pass. One of Namibia’s steepest and most dramatic roads, Spreetshoogte delivers sweeping, uninterrupted views across the Namib Desert. It’s a place where effort meets awe — and where the spirit of the Nauams Gravel Grind is truly earned.
At Nauams, the experience doesn’t end at the finish line. Riders and supporters are invited to slow down, recover, and celebrate in the heart of the Khomas Hochland. Stay in the Farmyard Chalets, unwind in a wood-fired hot tub at the Mountain Cabins, or gather with friends at the //Khāes Overland Outpost — all designed to make your post-ride experience as memorable as the ride itself.
The Nauams Gravel Grind proudly supports the wider region, with additional accommodation available nearby at Stofpad Campsite and Lodge, Namibgrens, Barkhan Dunes Retreat, Remhoogte Guest House,Swartfontein and Spreetshoogte Campsite, allowing riders to extend their stay and fully experience this remarkable part of Namibia.
