1. I fully agree and understand that cycling is an activity that, due to being performed in the outdoors, is subject to unpredictable situations and may result in injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death to either myself or any third party during participation in the Nauams Gravel Grind.
2. I recognize that natural and manmade obstacles, including other participants and road users, may be present on the route and that collisions may occur.
3. I will adhere to safety and warning signs, boards, or signals. I understand that if police officers, traffic officers, or event marshals are present, I must comply with their instructions.
4. I confirm that I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in cycling activities. I agree to continuously monitor my health and condition during the event and notify a marshal or medical staff immediately if my condition deteriorates.
5. I authorize any event personnel assisting at Nauams Gravel Grind and its affiliate organizations and companies to call for medical assistance on my behalf or transport me to a medical facility if, in their opinion, medical attention is required.
6. By participating in this event, I agree to hold harmless, release, and indemnify Nauams Gravel Grind and its affiliate organizations and companies from any and all liability, costs, and legal action arising from injury, permanent disability, death, or any other damages incurred by myself or third parties, except in cases of gross negligence.
